Hong Kong trip 130514-180514 (Day 4)

Hong Kong trip 130514-180514 (Day 4)- Macau

Day 4 started with breakfast at a cha cang teng called Golden Sand Restaurant, further down from Da Shi Fu Zhou Pin which is right in front of where our hotel lobby is (a road ahead).

From outside it looks classy and we thought the food will be expensive however, it is not.

The price is reasonable plus it comes with a hot drink.

I like the bread I ordered. Some crispy condensed milk bun :D

Sy find it nice too!

Took the MTR to Sheung Wan where the Macau Ferry Terminal is to buy ferry tickets to Macau!
We thought the route to the terminal was difficult from the map we researched however, it's really easy. You just have to follow the signboard and you will get there in 10 mins or so.
Bought Turbojet for HK$159 each

Cleared immigration and board the ferry! We boarded the 9.50am ferry

1 hour journey to reach Macau Maritime ferry terminal
Got a Macau map from the information counter and off we go!
First stop is to go Macau Tower for our skywalk

Initially we got quite confused over the rate of HK and Macau $ because we do not change any Macau currency however, it's HK$1 to Macau$1.

We saw the bus to take to Macau tower while in the taxi q so we hopped into the bus instead.
HK$6.40 for 2 pax from the terminal to Macau Tower.
It's quite easy to travel around in bus because there's information at the bus stop and the bus will state the next stop location.

It started to rain while we were on the bus but the rain stopped when we reached Macau Tower which is good because we wanted to do the skywalk!

The skywalk costs us about S$138 (comes with a tee shirt, a CD with the pictures taken during the walk-we got about 60 pics, and a softcopy certificate). They also provide us with this membership discount card which entitled us to discount if we were to do the walks in other countries.

Up we go! Level 61 where the skywalk and Bungy jump is

Got to the counter to register and got our tee shirt which we will need to change into at the changing room nearby. Locked up our stuffs in the locker (yes we need to pay for it) and time for skywalk le!

The crews helped us with the harness

Then one of them guided us out for the walk. He's also the photographer for us.
The area behind us is where people does the bungy jump.
We saw a couple doing it after we finished the walk.

He will ask us to do such poses. First one will be sitting at the inner circle of the tower.

The floor is still wet from the rain but lucky it didn't get obvious on my light grey shorts.
From this pic,it seems that I'm abit scare because I'm holding on to the side railings.

However the whole walk was alright! Not scary at all, hmm at least not as scary as what I thought it to be :D

Yay! The wind was quite strong actually~ and our hair can get in a mess :X

Run and glide~~ I'm always the first to do the actions because I'm in front haha.

So after seeing how the crew demonstrated, I tried my best and follow

The best shot with my neat hair and nice scenery

Can see Grand Lisboa~

A shot to see the tower on top of us

Sit down and enjoy the view~
 Messy hair :(

According to the crew, the other side of the river belongs to China already
And the water is slightly more polluted and that explains the color.

We were quite scare to do this lean back pose without holding on to the ropes.
Yi si yi si jiu hao la~ haha

Anyway the rope is pulling us hard so the lean backwards effect cant be seen too obviously

Run and glide again upon Sy's request

This time round slide with a twist! :D

Yay!

It ended quite quickly~ A pity we didnt get to take really nice pics of both of us together because our hair can get real messy and we could have done more poses.

While doing the walk, alot of tourists behind the glass were taking pics of us and waving to us so we waved back :) haha like a famous only~~ :P

Certificate emailed to us the next day.
With the temperature and wind speed included.
I do not know how much wind speed is considered strong or whatsoever so I went to google~
29–38 km/h- Fresh breeze (which is after calm, light air, light breeze, gentle breeze and moderate breeze)

Down to level 58 observatory

Sitting on the glass

Went to take some pics before we go to the next destination

Continued our journey to Sedona square by public bus.

Stopped at Grand Lisboa and walked down.

Came upon the famous egg tart cafe- Margaret's cafe so we sat and have 2 egg tarts each

Piping hot~ Taste not bad but I was telling Sy if we got the chance we should try Lord Stow's because I saw reviews saying that was nicer.
We managed to try Lord Stow's at Venetian during the evening! And indeed it was nicer to our taste :D Go try them if you all have the chance!

Senado Square next!

And tata~ Ruins of St Paul!

How not to take a mandatory pic with it when you are in Macau! Haha!

Bought snacks from this famous shop! You can see almost everyone with this carrier there.

Walked back to Grand Lisboa

Wanted to go into the casino to take a look but the cigar smell is quite heavy so we give it a miss and went to take the hotel shuttle bus to the Terminal where the shuttle bus to The Venetian is.
Hong Kong hotels and Macau hotels provide free shuttle bus services which is very convenient for tourists like us to travel around.

On the way~

And reached! The Venetian~

Tata~ like what we always see on TV shows

Singing with his voice so well and the devoted face~

This lady sang Tong Hua!

Walked around and we saw Lord Stow's!

Pardon my tired face~
Bought 1 each to try.. Nicer indeed :) in our opinion~

Our dinner place!

Dinner was not bad too

Took the shuttle bus back to Terminal to take ferry back to Hong Kong after dinner

The terminal we alighted at Hong Kong was at Kowloon station.

And that's for our Macau day~
Bought some sushi back to hotel to eat from Olympic MTR station

We love sushi. Haha! But no raw ones for sy.
S50cents each! YUMMSSS
