Turi Beach Resort getaway 17-19 July 14

Back from Turi Beach Resort and missing the slack days there!

Was so busy when we were back to work :(

I got to know of Turi Beach after seeing nice pictures from Instagram which other posted.

We knew there is Groupon deal however we did not get it there. We booked directly from the website. Sy did the job, together with booking ferry tickets online etc. Thanks Baby for the treat and also helping me with a lot of small details for this trip! 

Our ferry is at 11am, boarding time is about 10am. We reached Tenah Merah Ferry Terminal by 9 plus to get our boarding procedures done and get our white card etc. As there is still time before we enter the departure gate, we had breakfast at Killiney.

Batam time is 1 hour slower than Singapore time

As the check in time is 2pm and we were there early, we walked around to take pictures while waiting for our room to be ready.

Weather wasn't as good as the second day but still spam pictures :D

Intially we thought getting higher level will be good and we were quite disappointed that we got level 1.
However, after staying and getting around in the resort, we like our room because it was so convenient for everything!
When we came out of the door, there is the swimming pool. 
We get to see beautiful sunrise right outside our door and judge what time to go out to the bridge to take pictures.
The water activities Cabana Club is just there too. We played our water activities without bringing our valuables along, go back to our room to take camera after playing and back to just take pictures with the jet ski conveniently and quickly :D

Day 1- We went to Batam Mega mall as the weather is not as good.

Booked the taxi driver for 4hrs and we paid about S$36 for it

Mandatory meal at A&W

 Root beer float and nice spicy wings 

Nothing much to shop! Didn't get any shoes or clothings
Spent an hour plus at Timezone instead!

Cheap! Their games are in Singapore dollar less than a dollar per game
2 rounds of bumper car

 Played basketball

 Motorbike

 And even the carousel because we still got a lot of balance in the card

 Bought some kueh lapis

I believe it's more than double the price here

Second day morning

Woke up to sunrise outside door step

 Buffet Breakfast

 Dipped into the pool 

Before we got changed and go for jet ski!
Sy is the driver of course.
We got into the deep sea with the crew accompanying us on the ski as it was our first time

Parasailing at about batam 1pm because the tide got to be high

Sy went first while I got into the boat to take pics

 It was so shaky and fast in the boat.
When I see Sy in the sky I feel scared for him. So high!

This was the landing~~ Into the sea

The boat will slow down its speed and stopped while a crew in jet ski will stop at where you landed in the sea and help you up.

Removed the harness from your body and back to the sand.

The crew in the boat will keep the parachute and bring it back on the boat.

And it's my turn next

It happened too fast for me to be up there.
1,2,3 run and soon flying up
I'm actually struggling to sit on the harness but I gave up soon after as it "ran again" from my butt.
"Just hang on the harness then"- I thought to myself :P

It was not scary once you are up in the air.
Time to enjoy the scenery

Last day
Sunrise was even beautiful 

 From skie to egg yolk sun

 However, a bit hard to capture it into photo using camera

Witnessed a monkey sneezing for the first time in my life.
It never came across my mind that a monkey will sneeze :x

Dipped into the pool again and watched TV before checking out.
Waited for shuttle bus back to ferry terminal and that marks the end of our short getaway

Thanks for everything Sy! A good photographer but I can be one at rare times too :P
