Bangkok 9-12 Jan 2014 (Day 2)

Our second day in Bangkok covers Baiyoke Sky Tower, Central World, Siam Ocean World and Terminal 21.

First thing in the morning was to have buffet breakfast in the hotel. After eating,  we went to shop at the streets beside/behind the lanes of our hotel where I bought most of my clothings. 

Back to room to put things etc and head to Baiyoke Sky Tower.

The tickets allow us to enter the observatory tower and entitled us to a cup of drink each at the bar.
If I remember correctly, it costs us about S$12.

 Breath-taking 

You can choose to stay put while the revolving roof deck rotate itself 360 degree and you can go as many rounds as you want.
We went 3 rounds! Taking pics, enjoying the view etc. Haha

Went to the bar to redeem our free drink - Fruit punch for us 

Went back to our hotel and had the salted caramel cake which we bought on day 1 at Siam Paragon Greyhound cafe before we headed out to Central World for Kalpapruek because of the good reviews I read online.

However, the red velvet waffles disappoint us.

Moved on to Siam Paragon- Siam Ocean World

Of course I find it uncomparable to the SEA aquarium we have here. However, the layout and decorations have their own style. It gave us a forest feel.

Last stop for the day will be Terminal 21.
Initially we wanted to stay at Siam Paragon for Harrods but they have event on that day. So we changed plan- Terminal 21 on day 2, Harrods pushed behind to day 3.

That's our day 2 in BKK. Walked the same route back to hotel from Siam.
Most tiring day for SY because he took the most pictures for this trip on this day at different places.
