Southern Ridges
If you dont know what is southern ridges, it's actually a series of hills located at the southwest of Singapore.
It consists of Marang Trail, Faber walk, Henderson wave, Hilltop walk, Alexandra Arch, Forest walk and Hortpark and Canopy walk.
Me and my boy split the walk into 2 days because we do not have enough time as we stopped to take pics. Also Hortpark is quite big. Too bad the weather was not good on the day we went to Hortpark so not much pictures were taken. Good thing is when it stopped raining, the air is cool.
1st part- Marang Trail to Alexandra Arch
We started from Marang Trail which is just opposite Vivocity.
Up up up we go!
According to the national park website, marang trail is equals to 24 storeys tall. Hehe Mr Teo got carry me abit on the way up :P *save my energy for behind*
Reached the Faber Walk
Looking down to Sentosa. Can see the underwater world building and cable cars
Walked further down and we are at Henderson waves!
The previous time was by the car we rented at night. This time round is day time!
Take pic take pic!
We took turns to carry the bagpack :D
After hendersons wave is the hilltop walk.
This is the place I saw on Tv when I was young!
Nice view isn't it?
This terrace garden is the highest point in Telok Blangah Hilltop park
Forest walk is next!
Like a cool to me. First time see this in Spore.
Long long stretch of elevated walkway
Till we see the alexandra arch which I think will be nicer at night with the lightings
We stopped here at hortpark as it's evening already
Another day -Starting from Hortpark
It started to rain with the sun
When the rain stopped we continued up the hills to Canopy walk and we could see mist (water vapour) in the air
On the canopy walk we could see hortpark
Walked till kent ridge park and we saw this port
A good experience and eye opener + exercise.
Nature walk is one of the thing me and B like to do- exploring and see places together in Spore we never been to :)
