Hong Kong trip 130514-180514 (Day 3)- Ngong Ping and Mongkok

Day 3 breakfast at a cha cang teng called Da Shi Fu Zhou Pin.
It's just a road ahead when we came out of the hotel entrance.
The porridge tempted us to go in as I had a bad throat and wanted something warm

Pi dan shou rou porridge (Century egg with meat)
Soya bean drink
With char siew

Carrot cake (did not get the XO one because of my throat)

The food taste good! Plus it's cheap!

Next stop: Ngong Ping!
MTR to Tung Chung Station from Olympic
and there it is~

Bought the tickets at HK$210 each - crystal cabin up and standard down

Up we go

To a point it turned foggy~

Reached Ngong Ping Village

Climb up to Big Buddha

It was quite foggy but we managed to see the clear Buddha for awhile!

Bought the meal ticket for vegetarian meal so when we came down, we head to the restaurant straight.

Pictures taken on the way

 It's a lot of food for 2

Finished eating and we head to Wisdom Path

Took about 10-15min walk

Lots of big spider web can be seen

Tata and we reached

Took some pics and back to the village area.
Wanted to take the bus to Tai O but next bus is like an hour later so we give it a miss and went back to hotel to wash up. After which we headed to Mongkok for dinner and shopped a bit

These are people collecting some things from the sea or mangrove? Not too sure what they are picking too

Shopped the supermart called Taste at the citygate outlets mall

And bought a pack of sushi back to hotel to eat :D
Yummy~

The busy Langham place

and Mongkok streets

Their wet market is very active even during the evening

Settled for dinner inside Langham Place

then went to look for Hui Lau Shan for dessert
Jumbo party big bowl~ cost about S$10+
I had a bad throat but i still eat mango. Who knows the next morning my throat turn better :P

Ladies street which we did not buy anything (except magnets for souvenirs)

And back to hotel for day 3 :)
