Cruise Superstar Virgo to Redang

May 2013

Few days after I'm back from Bangkok was my company trip on star cruise. Superstar Virgo this time round as the previous Star Gemini was a bit cock-up (just arrived from Sembawang shipyard) and they allowed us to board this cruise at a cheaper price. ($80 for sea port tax if I remember correctly). It's a good price as Virgo is a bigger cruise and we will be stopping over at Redang. 3D2N this time round (the previous trip was just 1 night).

Boarded and went into our room to put our bags. I shared the room with my 2 other colleagues and as I'm the youngest among them and lightest, I took the upper deck bed which needs a "ladder" to climb up and down as shown.
The ladder was initially kept in the drawer and colleague from another room didn't know about it. She told us she climbed up with the help of the side table. Haha!

Started to set off~

We sat at the skydeck for some drink and then I decided to go to the front of the ship to take pics of sunset

While my colleague and I were taking pics of the sunset, we heard the stage saying Jack Neo and ABTM.
We went to take a look and they were really on board. 
Excited me asked my colleague to go down to the stage front with me to take pics! 
Was wondering at that point if they will be going to Redang as well or not.

They performed the theme song~~ Awww shuai! And I did video down them sing. Haha

Went for dinner with the colleagues (5 of us) at the Chinese restaurant which was nice. 
We had dinner at this chinese restaurant for 2 days :)

 Went back to bathe and head out for shows in the theater  

 Dim Sum for breakfast which was so so

Then we went to the western restaurant for 2nd round.
On board cruise = eat, walk around look look, watch performances and relax at the deck with sea breeze

Walk around and take pics with one of my colleagues while the rest went to casino, library etc

Lunch at international buffet and off we disembark to Redang
We need to take a small boat to reach the destination and the boat is very shaky!

Then my colleague "pulled" me along to help her take pics with the ABTM and after she took, she asked them to take with me. So it's my turn! Hahaha

Nice water but we didn't sign up for the snorkeling 

The small boats back to the cruise were available anytime before 5pm. We went back slightly earlier to avoid the crowd as we were done with photo taking and shopping for souvenirs at a small shop there.

Bathed and went for dinner  

Oldies song after dinner and honestly I felt very sleepy at that time + slight headache

Sun rise the next morning! 
We woke up at 5am but the sun came out later than expected

And soon it's time to disembark
A nicer experience this time round on board Star cruise.
Food was much nicer, crowd was more organised and the stopover at Redang was a nice and relaxing one :)
